„Das Ferienhaus entsprach exakt den der Beschreibung. Nur die geografischen Angaben zur Lage pass(t)en nicht. Dies ist aber ein Problem von Fewo-Direkt und kein Fehler des Vermieters. Laut Karte von Fewo-Direkt ist sie am Stadtrand. In Wirklichkeit aber eher 10 Minuten Autofahrt von La Fortuna entfernt. Wer morgens zu Fuß in ein Café oder abends in eine Bar möchte, hat schlechte Karten. Vom ersten Kontakt bei der Buchung bis zur Abreise: der Vermieter war jederzeit erreichbar und stand auch für ...

„Geschirr war leider nicht wirklich sauber. Bad auch schimmelig und voll mit Bauschaum und viel zu viel Silikon an der Wanne. Insgesamt alles eher nur auf den ersten Blick schön, bei genauerem Hinschauen müsste viel renoviert werden. Ein Esstisch hat gefehlt. An der Küchentheke konnte man nicht gut sitzen. Dafür war der Pool schön, das Haus hatte viel Platz, bequeme Betten und Sofa und der Garten toll angelegt. Auf meine WhatsApp hatte niemand reagiert. “

„Upon arrival, we initially received incorrect directions, but the property management promptly dispatched someone to our location. „We had a really great stay at Villa Marcela. It is perfectly located just off the main road in La Fortuna so you are close to all the action but out of the way a bit. There is plenty of space at the house for everyone to have their own rooms. The kids loved playing in the pool in the evening after a long day of exploring. There is tons to do all within about an hour drive of the house, including arenal volcano, zip lines, river tubing, waterfalls, El Salto rope swing, and so much more.“

„This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane ...

Being so close to the highway, you can sometimes hear a bit of traffic, but it wasn't too bad. Having Soda La Palma next door was great! We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
