"Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Lodge außerhalb von Tortuguero. Deshalb nur per Fußmarsch oder Recht teures Wassertaxi zu erreichen. Bungalows recht hellhörig und ohne AC und Kühlschrank. Dafür 2 breite Betten."

"Das Personal an der Rezeption hat uns nicht weiter über Aktivitäten informiert und es lagen keine Informationen aus. Die Zimmer sind nicht leise, da auf der einen Seite offene Lamellen und auf der anderen Seite keine geschlossenes Fenster, sondern ein offenes Fenster mit Fliegengitter hatte. Das Essen im restaurant war gut, man hatte eine gute Auswahl. Positiv war, dass sie gleich an der Rezeption zum Anfang nach Allergien fragten, und die Allergene auf der Speisekarte sah. Leider fehlte dem Personal ein Lächeln. "

"Die Lodge liegt auf der anderen Seite des Kanals und kann von Tortuguero aus nur mit dem Boottaxi erreicht werden, was unflexibel ist und ins Geld geht. Die Lodge ist schön, weitläufig und sauber. Allerdings sind die Bungalows mit jeweils vier Zimmern sehr hellhörig. Die Privatsphäre geht gegen Null. Die Lodge wird üblicherweise von Bustouren angefahren, was für Individualreisende anstrengend sein kann. Frühstück ist etwas lieblos und fleischlastig."

"The hotel was nice and beautiful, the staff was lovely and always wanting to help. However I cannot give the maximum rates for the following reasons : when spending this amount for an hotel room I expect all details to be looked after, for a perfect and personnalized experience. This was not the case: the lights were not functionning properly when we got the room and we had to ask for the maintenance to fix them. They only fixed half of it and we decided not to complain for the second problem (the lights in the bathroom were not correctly functionning) : in a 5 star hotel you should not need to ask for theses details to be taken care of. We also had to call for the mosquito shades that would not close properly when entering the room. Boats belonging to the hotel were moored right under our windows : they would make noise everytime waves were created by passing boats = 50 times per day/night. They could also improve the hospitality with simple services such as : Tortuger is among the places in the world with the most rain falls. Once wet your cloth won't dry anymore. There is nothing to help you hang your clothes in the room or in the hotel. The only alternative is the paying laundry service. Finally when checking out no one came to carry our luggages from the room to the dock. We still had a great time but I would not spend such an amount for this quality in the future. "
