„Although the motel dates probably from the mid 1980’s, it is clean, and comfortable, with a kitchen comprising of an electric stove top, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. All were in excellent condition, and the property is well maintained. Whilst we did not use the pool, it looked clean and inviting. „I travelled with my granddaughter and we stayed 10 days in Janice' wonderful and well-equipped apartment (1 separate bedroom. The unit sleeps for all in all). The kitchen was stuffed with almost everything necessary and it was a great experience to all cooking outside on the shaded veranda (induction cooker and gas grill).Janice and her family gave us a very warm welcome. „Stayed here for a night for a quick getaway from our busy city life. The communication with the hosts were great from the beginning. We had an easy access to the property and it had everything we needed for our stay. We had such an amazing experience plus the bath under the stars was lovely!!! The little treats we got upon arrival was a nice touch!! The bathroom was beautiful too! Short but definitely a sweet experience! 💕 We’ll definitely come back! ❤️“

„Die Ferienwohnung besteht aus einem kombinierten Schlaf-/Wohnraum mit offener Küche und einem Duschbad. Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet (Waschmaschine vorhanden), Dusche/WC mit Pflegeprodukten, sieht beides sehr neu und gepflegt aus. Schöne Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln, Sonnenschirm und tollem Blick aufs Wasser (wenn es da ist ;-) Sogar ein Kanu wird gestellt. Parken auf dem Grundstück. Lage ist etwas außerhalb von Whangarei, aber mit dem Auto kein Problem. Dafür ist die Natur mit Wanderwegen etc. ...

"Overall good hotel right at the water. We had a room without sea view, quiet with parking directly in front of the room. Bed was super comfy, however the room could've had a little more thought put into it. There were no electrical outlets next to the bed, plus the switch for the night stand lights could not be reached when lying in bed. The windows could not be closed, so we had bugs inside. The bathroom did not have a fan to expel the moist air, which causes problems on the ceiling. In addition to that, the joints in the shower could use some extended cleaning or replacement. Overall good (8/10) but some room for improvement."

"Es war modern und sauber. Wir hatten das behindertengerechte Apartement, was wir eigentlich nicht brauchten. Dafür war es das einzige mit einer abgetrennten eigenen Terasse. Leider waren uns die Betten viel zu hart - andere mögen das evtl. 2 große Einkaufsmärkte sind in der Nähe und gut zu Fuß zu erreichen."
