„I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there ...

„This cabin was in a perfect location and the host was great with communication!“

„ The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again.“

„I stayed for a couple nights for my birthday. Wanted something secluded and small. This was a perfect little cabin that fit the bill. Cool place with a creek right next to it and a little fire pit. Could definitely go back again “

„Check-in instructions were easy to follow. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed linens, towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap were provided. Very clean and nice place. Refreshing cooler air as we are going through a heat wave at home. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs listening to the bird's and seeing 8 deer 2 mornings. “

„This is our 4th time booking with Melissa - our first here at Linville. This cabin is cozy and beautifully decorated and maintained. Several things to do in the area. Pet friendly but very clean home. The area seems very pet friendly too. Melissa was very responsive and helpful from checking to check out. Highly recommend! “

„Lovely little cabin. Would be nice to have a larger back porch with screen since the creek and a small waterfall is so beautiful to look at and enjoy the sound. Inner tubes were in the basement with the laundry so we enjoyed a float on the creek. “

„For the cost of what we paid for the rental, it was fantastic. It has 2 great outdoor spaces, with a top and lower deck. It is small, but enough space for what we needed. It needs a few simple things, that I noticed others mention, like more towels. We are 60 guest and had to maneuver to get up the outdoor steps and to get in to the high ledge bath tub/showers. We found the furniture and beds comfortable. The kitchen had just about anything you could use, but a big pot to boil spaghetti. We ...

"I had slightly higher expectations before arriving at the hotel. The check-in staff were fine, but I was hoping for a bit more of that Southern hospitality. When we got to our room, we noticed a lot of noise from the road, so we went back down to request a room change, which they handled without any issues—this was fantastic. The room itself was quite nice, with a very comfortable bed, though the bathroom was a bit small but functional. I also want to highlight the number and quality of the towels, which were excellent. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the breakfast much. It was impossible to avoid single-use plastic, which, as Europeans, we find difficult due to the amount of waste it generates. The dining area also felt a bit drab and uninviting. Another downside was the housekeeping. Despite requesting, confirming, and leaving the sign on the door for daily cleaning, we returned one evening to find that no one had come to clean the room, which was disappointing."
