„This is a cute little place with plenty of space. Much more comfortable than a hotel room. Only takes about 15 minutes to drive to Martins Ferry and Wheeling. My son enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching the barges on the river. Loved having a good k-cup coffee maker available. I also greatly appreciated the washer and dryer that allowed me to wash up our laundry the night before we left so that I didn't have a bunch of laundry to do when we got home. „Charming century old house with tons of character. Very spacious and well maintained inside. Offered everything we were looking for. While situated in a nicely kept neighborhood, the homes on this specific street and a couple adjacent show definite signs of economic distress. With that said, still felt very safe. “

„Cozy cottage on a beautiful property. Well equipped for kids and adults alike (games, movies, books, fire pit). Hosts were amazing…very communicative and helpful. Close to Tappan Lake and within walking distance of a wonderful General Store that has been in business for over 100 years…they make their own ice cream! So much fun and very relaxing.“

„Great property for a quiet and cozy stay at the lake, dock access for kayaking/boating/fishing, beach for swimming within walking distance.Full kitchen, wifi and laundry appliances on site. This is currently the only log cabin in the area, and it has an awesome balcony overlooking the lake. Owners were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had; awesome getaway for a couple or small family :)“

„Everything about the house itself was amazing only issue was the swimming situation. Walking distance is not an option for swimming. The private beach is restricted to renters so the only option is to drive 10 mins. Just felt a little mislead“

„Size was great for the two of us parking was easy 25 ft from the door and the cottage was very clean. Not a bad walk to downtown 12 minute walk to shops and restaurants.“
