„The house is as pictured. There was plenty of sleeping space for my family of 5. The beds were comfortable. It is an older house that has been updated, so there are small issues like water pressure and cosmetic eyesores. It's the best house in the neighborhood, but many of the surrounding homes are in disrepair. “

„The yellow cabin has become the perfect mini vacation for my husband and myself. So much so that we invited our friends this time to enjoy watching the sun rise and fall over the beautiful lake. Just sitting on the deck enjoying the breeze is enough to want to back over and over again.“

„We had an awesome trip to Lake D’Arbonne for my birthday celebration! Megan was such a big help and was quick to respond anytime I needed anything. The property is so cute and well maintained. We were able to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the front porch as well as the dock. We spent the majority of our time fishing, but when we weren’t, the property is located close to some really great restaurants which was super convenient! Would definitely stay here again!“

„Stayed here for a baseball tournament that one of my kids was playing in Ruston. Only a 17 minute (super easy trip) from the driveway to the Ruston Sports Complex! Owner was quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. Definitely would recommend! “

„The cabin has the bare minimum in the way of furniture, decor, linens, etc. A little bit more effort in making it more inviting and cozy would go a long way. There are no curtains or blinds, barely enough linens for the futon (which is counted as a bed), no utensils, nothing on the walls, no bedroom or closet door. It could be a very cute place with a little effort. “

„My fiancé and I stayed at the Red Dirt Retreat for a quick weekend getaway and could not have been happier. The house was very pretty, spotless, and had everything we needed. The spot on the lake was beautiful and we even caught some fish. My only regret is that we did not stay longer. We will definitely be back.“
