„This VRBO was very clean and inside a lovely, self-built home. We had no complaints, however, the listing could have been clearer that the owner and family live in the other half of the house and have access to walk into the renter's half of the house at any point. The owner was very friendly and accommodating to a large group. The house has lots of wildlife, which offers a relaxing stay in the woods. “

„The home was very clean. We had everything we needed for a weekend away. The owner answered us quickly when we had a question about the door lock. The stairs are quite steep but there is a handrail on both sides which is helpful for older people. There is a tv in the upstairs bedroom which wasn’t mentioned and a cozy chair. „Beautiful location, perfect for nature lovers! We stayed 3 nights and wished it could've been longer.Nicely stocked kitchen and plenty of room for everyone. Our favorite thing was being able to kayak around the lake anytime. We had the whole lake to ourselves.Wonderful, relaxing weekend. Hope to be able to return, highly recommend!“

„My wife and I and our yellow lab Zoe, loved our stay at your beautiful river cottage! The river is so calm and peaceful and best of all, it can be enjoyed from the back patio, or up close and personal if you are adventurous. Little thoughtful touches have been added to all rooms allowing every guest to relax and enjoy! We stayed for four nights but wished we could have stayed longer! We look forward to visiting again .Thank you for a memorable stay!“

The property had several issues with cleanliness — there was an unpleasant smell, the floor vents and spaces under furniture were dirty, and dust had built up behind the drapes. Towels were scarce, there were no mattress covers, and the kitchen had a random hodge-podge of items that made cooking difficult. „The house was lovely, located in a great location right on the lake. Easy entry, very clean and they had everything I needed. All cabinets, drawers, etc were labeled so I had no problems finding what I needed. Didn’t take any boats out or go on the water, but I did fish from the dock. Neighbors were very nice. Overall, 5 stars, I would definitely go back.“
