„This property came to me by default. It was the sweetest most private and comfortable unit in my 2 week travel. Everything I ever wanted or needed was included in the most delightful way. Parking was ample and easy and most conveniences and sightseeing were available by walking. Next time, this will be my first choice.“

„My husband, baby, and I, along with another couple and their baby, stayed at this cottage during our trip to Cape Breton. The cottage was more spacious than we expected and fit us well. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area was great. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach! Great sand and swimming, and the location made it perfect for running back and forth with kids. This place is a drive away from any amenities, which we knew, but something to take into consideration.“

„If you like solitude and nature, Big Intervale will give you that! The property is beautiful and off the beaten path. There are no services nearby so if you’re visiting off season, be sure to gas up and bring your toothbrush and snacks. It’s a good 20-30 minutes on a dirt road to get in or out of the cabins. The owners were welcoming and accommodating. “

„Visiting from BC to surprise my sister for Christmas. Trip was her Christmas gift and my wife has never been to CB. Facilities were clean and comfortable, however, going up the stairs to the room was difficult for my sister due to her bad knees, bed was a little small for my wife and I but was comfortable. The room was quiet and warm. Would stay here again.“

„We stayed here two nights while we explored the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton. It was a perfect location right on the water! Beautiful view despite the poor weather we had. Nice to walk the boardwalk and walk to dinner. The placement of the potty in the bathroom was curious, but we had a giggle over it. That said, the kitchen was equipped with what we needed, beds were comfy, and it was a very cute apartment! “

„Really enjoyed staying in this home. The host was responsive and helpful with some recommendations. A very homey feel with everything you need to come back to after a long day exploring the island. Just a few min to a couple beaches, 15 min to town which felt doable even for a quick trip for ice cream, and about 30 min to the entrance to the national park. Comfortable bedding and couch. “

„Property was as described . The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. Our host Barb was very responsive to our questions. Would highly recommend this place if you have a large group. We were 8 golfers and the 3 Cabot course’s are down the road and you are also close to the beach.“

„This was the PERFECT place to stay for us. Four adults (two couples) so the living room and deck was perfect for us to be able to socialize comfortable in the evening. The kitchen was large and stocked with all the dishes and appliances you would need. It was SUPER clean. The double beds were cozy - we are used to a Queen size, so we just cuddled. „We stayed at this property for 3 nights. Cheaper than staying along the loop and right on the water. The beds were comfortable, has all convenient amenities and a cute market not too far away. Only negative was the swarm of lady bugs inside. We would tidy up then have another one come on the counter, land on a glass etc shortly after - looked like a hive hatched in a window. I would also recommend a small bridge or planks along the one section of driveway at the bottom of the hill. All in all - ...
