„We enjoyed our stay. The house was cute, clean, and convenient to the interstate. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels. It could use a new set of cookware, but we were able to cook 2 basic pasta meals with the pots and pans that were there. We loved being able to park our car securely behind the back gate. We also loved that our pup had a yard to roam without having to be leashed. We would definitely stay here again. “

„The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner ...

„We enjoyed everything about our stay here! It’s a beautiful older home in a beautiful neighborhood which was very pleasant to walk. We enjoyed the patio for relaxing at the end of the day. The beds were very comfortable. The only things we missed having were an electric kettle to make tea and we could have used another wine glass (we found only one). Definitely would stay here again!“

„Captain Ron is absolutely the most wonderful host. It is an older boat with a retro 70s style! That is where the charm is for me! Any issues with being an older boat are way out-weighed by the charm of the boat, the beautiful natural area and a wonderful and interesting host! Sitting on the front of that boat, looking out across the water, the rest of the world melts away! I would say if you are a larger sized person, you would have difficulty getting up and down the stairs to the different ...

„This is a great, well appointed property in an easy to access location. The home was clean and neat, though we’d recommend fewer air fresheners as those aggravated some allergies. The front porch is great for morning coffee, and the quaint backyard was a lovely place for dinner. The home has everything you need; we’ll definitely consider staying again if we are in the area!“
