„This was our second visit to the Painted Pony and it was again a delight for everyone from the four-year old, through the tweens and teens, my grown and married children, and for Grandma and Grandpa. Lots of space, lots of fun things to do (swimming, sauna, basketball, pool, ping pong, etc. It is in the middle of nowhere, which we LOVED! Close to the Chiricahua Mts with great easy and hard hikes. The hosts were very responsive also.“

„This cottage was a perfect fit for birders, away from the crowds and excellent open range area to catch the morning and dawn bird activity. The location is a short drive to the Chiricahuas. Our hostess was very accommodating, the rooms were well furnished and this provided a perfect base for our stay.“

„We stayed in the suite with the kitchenette. The bed was comfy and the room was perfect for two people to relax after our adventures. The hosts are super nice and very knowledgeable about the area. The backyard was eclectic and very comfortable. Lots of kitty petting going on by us. Overall a very pleasant 40 yr wedding anniversary.“
