„My brothers stayed here while visiting me in Haines. Everything was perfect and Janet is so good she got us perfect weather as well! Janet was quick to reply and made our stay very comfortable. This house is bright with very comfy beds.“

„We got to check in early, and loved our entire stay, couldnt figure out the tv but if wed asked we would have been fine. No need for tv on this beautiful weekend! We paid it forward leaving coffe pods and some sweetener, and forks but they were provided! Shower was aweso.e but slippery floor... loved this accommodation!!!!“

„ It’s just a few blocks from the University of Alaska Southeast, which is worth touring. There’s even a bus that will take you downtown with a stop a few hundred feet away. Be aware that it’s on the third floor. So you have to haul your stuff up stairs. The overlooks Aike Bay harbor.“

„We really enjoyed this quiet green oasis in Mendenhall Valley. Our favorite part was being right next to the Brotherhood Bridge Trail -- you really do walk right over that tiny bridge in the picture, and are right on the trails. Our toddler loved exploring tiny paths through the woods, as well as the very quiet neighborhood playground that was only a minute's walk through the trees. We loved enjoying our coffee on the porch. „Highly recommend. Clean well maintained. Quick response to our inquiries. It was perfect for us. Full disclosure; It is an older home the beautiful refurbish can’t eliminate some of those characteristics (closet doors that don’t close, bumps in the floor.. all very minor if you’re not a perfectionist) We would stay again without hesitation.“

„We had a fabulous visit. The apartment seems newly re-done. It was clean and comfortable for our family of 4. If anything, John, the host under sells the place. All the pictures on VRBO are of the really nice interior but there are also great views out the bedroom windows and from the super nice porch. The property is right on the Mendenhall River but down by the wider part of the river so out of the recent flood areas. Other than the super nice accommodations, the best part was that it is ...

„The place was very comfortable, clean and well supplied. It had everything we needed, including lots of pillows and blankets for kids to crash on the couches, air mattress, and floor. Bill and Penny were extremely accomodating, he even snow plowed around our car. Great central location, Fred Meyer is literally right down the road. I would definjtely stay there again!“
