„The stay was comfortable for eight adults to stretch and be in their own space. Public places were inviting, prompted confession and gathering. We grilled for most of the time, and enjoyed the first floor cover area the most. We all slept well, cooked large breakfasts, and enjoyed the Sunday football games in the spacious living room...we had successful family excursion.“

„This was the perfect place for a big group. We had 4 kids that played the ultimate game of hide and seek in the main house. We wished the water had been higher to the dock like the picture. But it was high enough to swim a little farther to the right. The guest house was great for all the older parents. “

„We were a large group in town for my brother’s funeral. My sister in law’s house was too small to entertain so many family members and friends and the McQueeney house was perfect. Only 10 of us stayed overnight but it couldn’t have been better. Close to the funeral in New Braunfels and close-ish to Fort Sam Houston. It was beautiful and comfortable and well appointed. „This is an amazing location for a large family or for entertaining. I have never been in a VRBO with as much kitchen equipment and gear. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Easy to find and easy entry. Top notch communications. Beautiful rooms, as described. But the kitchen and butlers pantry were stocked with an amazing amount of cups and cooking gear was over the top! The covered porch was fantastic! The separate beverage fridge was awesome! Thank you so much!“
