The kitchen was a real highlight, with new appliances and fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals with ease.We especially enjoyed the peaceful surroundings—hiking in the nearby woods during the day and gathering around the fire pit at night for s’mores, with plenty of dry wood provided. „If you want incredibly quiet, this is your place. About 4 miles from Wellsville, this rustic cabin is secluded in the woods. It is older and well worn but sturdy. A lovely deck for reading and relaxing or having coffee. We did not cook food but the small kitchenette is sufficient. Towels and some small toiletries are included. Parking is nearby. And no bears!“

„Loved our weekend stay at the Dark Sky Escape. Cabin is cozy yet spacious with everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and comfortable. The property is up on a hill and surrounded by trees...a true hideaway. Great communication and clear instructions throughout the stay. Will definitely be back. “

„Very nice, quaint little cozy place to stay while exploring the area. Convenient location and affordable, we were interested mainly in seeing Cherry Springs State Park but not interested in camping or a fancy B&B, we just needed a place to crash and this was perfect. The host Jen was INCREDIBLY kind, and also knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely recommend this spot and this host. “

„My family recently stayed at this lovely retreat. The photos do not give justice to this place. It is minutes from town, but makes you feel as though you are much further out. The cabin is meticulously maintained with all of the basics you need in the kitchen and bathroom. The pond is stocked with fish and the fire pit is ready to go. At night, fireflies light up the woods and add to magical ambiance.The owners were helpful and communicative. Everything we needed or needed to know how to operate ...

„The host made the whole process easy. We were given excellent directions to the cabin and we had no issues getting into the cabin. The cabin was very clean and was equipped with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The WiFi and TV both worked well. The location was a reasonable driving distance from the attractions we were interested in seeing. “
