„I had a wonderful few days hiking with my dog. Great house and immense amount of property and land to walk the dog in, even if I didn’t want to drive to the trails to hike. Fabulous retreat! And the hostess was great and accommodating.“

„Stayed here to attend a wedding at Spillian. The location is very close... FYI... I recommend that you plan to drive to the venue. The home is cozy and the host communicated t/o the stay in case we needed anything. LOVED the covered porch off the kitchen... so relaxing with the creek flowing behind the property. As a bird watcher enjoyed watching the red-winged back birds and swallows near the small pond. We even briefly spotted a hummingbird! “

„We had a great stay in a cozy cabin and enjoyed excellent communication with Laura. When we had an issue with the grill’s propane tank, she sent someone up within 15 minutes, which we really appreciated.There are a few areas for improvement. Firstly, the cabin could benefit from more seating. With five adults, it was challenging for all of us to gather comfortably in one room. „We loved the home and location, was a bit disappointed that a washer and dryer were not available but upon reading the house information again I realized that a washer and dryer were not listed so that’s my fault. The house is about 1 1/2 hours from the Bethel Museum that covers the Woodstock music festival. The museum is awesome. The scenery is beautiful and lots of hiking trails. Unfortunately for us it rained the entire trip.“

„Took a short weekend away with my partner and doggo. Danielle's bungalow was a perfect getaway for us. The place is comfortable with unique touches such as the sauna and the beautiful artwork throughout the house. The backyard was fully fenced, so my dog had a blast running around outside. Danielle was very easy to reach and promptly responded to my question about the sauna. I highly recommend as a place to unwind while having access to the restaurants and towns nearby. “

„First of all, very impressed with everything provided in the cabin pretty much everything we can think of was already there so we definitely overpacked.. The property was amazing crossing down into the river in the backyard with the fire ring was especially a very cool experience. The big side property was great for a little wiffle ball game with my nephew…. Close by down the road was a nice hike to the fire tower. Overall, an excellent experience. „We enjoyed our relaxing stay at this super cute well designed home. Our son played in the river/creek and fished all weekend. Great spot to read, relax and enjoy the fire in the winter months. Well stocked and nicely renovated. The outside of the home is more worn but overall very good stay. Also enjoyed a few nice restaurants. “

„We’re a few families with babies and dogs, and this house was perfect for a Hunter getaway! We lounged in the common space, relaxed in the hot tub, and cooked up a storm in the stocked kitchen. And right near the skiing at Hunter. We’ll cherish our memories there!“
