„Ideal - spectacular were descriptions I received when I asked family what review to give. We recently stayed at Carter House four days mid-September for a family reunion. Eight adults stayed at the house and 10 local family members visited. Large play area in basement was perfect for the children. Plenty of room and comfortable furniture in spacious great room for adults. Decor added to comfortable atmosphere. „This was a great stay for my group of friends who were in town for another friend’s birthday. The location was great with some cool diners nearby as well as the river! Check-in and parking were simple, the rooms clean, and the kitchen great with lots of fridge space. “

We appreciated their willingness to answer our questions and be as helpful as possible - esp. since my husband has a progressive neurological disease requiring my assistance. It really meant a lot to us as this was my husband’s “final farewell” to his parents who are interred at Quantico Natl Cemetery.“
