„Very clean property and although pet friendly, the dog hair was minimal. Comments regarding low ceilings are accurate but not a big deal even at my 6'3" height. Very quiet to the point I took advantage of the white noise maker in the bedroom. Great interior and shower. This owner cares about the stay of their customers!“

„We had such a wonderful time at this gorgeous house! It was clean, comfortable, spacious and very relaxing. Our group had kids and adults of all ages and everyone had a fantastic time. The brewery next door is an added bonus, and we didn’t have any issues with noise or crowds. We will definitely stay here again.“

„Beautiful, peaceful little cottage. Stayed for the weekend and enjoyed hiking in Harpers Ferry and the local restaurants. Our dog loved hanging out by the water and sitting on the swing by the fire at night. We will be back! “

„Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had.“

„This is my familys second time staying at Lisa's property. Each time the cabin has been clean, well stocked, and no issues whatsoever. Lisa is very easy to communicate with and the property itself is special. From the relaxation under the canopy of trees, to the pool and creek access, there is plenty for a family to do. We look forward to our next annual trip!“

„Incredibly charming home in the perfect location. Me, my husband, and small dog spent hours on the deck, people watching, admiring the butterflies and the scenery, and drinking local wine from the cute store across the street. Just a minute's walk to restaurants and a cafe, with an amazing ice cream shop down the steps. The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend. “

„It was a great stay. No complaints! Great communication with the hosts before and during our stay. Very clean and just like the photos. The only comments not entirely positive (but worth noting because it was one of my deciding factors in booking this property) is that the hot tub was not clean enough for us to be comfortable using (it is in the woods and may have been pollen coming through the screens—but it was covered) and I think one of the queen sized mattresses does need to be replaced in ...

„This is a great property with lots of space for a large group. Plenty of space to gather or get some space from your fellow guests. This stretch of the Potomac river is beautiful and uncrowded. We had a great time down by the dock. Host was very communicative. Highly recommend. “

„The log cabin is very charming. It was our first time staying in a log cabin, so the construction was really interesting and seemed unique. The decor was very country in keeping with a log cabin. The upholstered chairs and sofas are super comfortable. The kitchen is so convenient; everything is within easy reach. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, def pack your own herbs and spices. There are convenient grocery stores within 10 minutes for you to stock up on condiments and all the ingredients ...

„We really enjoyed our stay here, the location is perfect for exploring Harpers Ferry, within walking distance to everything. The cottage is well equipped, clean and cozy, perfect for a couples get away, would book again if returning to HF.
