„We really enjoyed our stay. Our host did an outstanding job making us feel welcome, and the property was exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect with a huge lawn right on the Chena River! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, our kids enjoyed paddleboarding on the river, and our dog enjoyed exploring the spacious yard. The home itself has a unique, old time Alaska feel to it, and the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed reading some of the articles hanging up about the history ...

„Laura and Martin have a wonderful get-away. Breakfast, coffee, water and snacks await you upon arrival. The house is clean and the decor provides real Alaskan vibe. I stayed mid-July and the deck and flowers were peaceful and inviting. As hosts,, they are friendly and attentive. I would recommend anyone to their lovely Gilmore house. “

„We enjoyed our time here so much. The peace and quiet was so relaxing, and only minutes away from restaurants and shopping. Nancy was informative and friendly, and has a lot of great tips on things to do in the area. House was very clean, everything provided, and check in and out was so easy. Would stay again. PS loved the ducks in the stream out back.“

"Die „Herbergsmutter“ war sehr nett, man konnte von 05:00 bis 23:00 Uhr frischen Kaffee bekommen! Bis 22:30 Uhr konnte konnte man jedes Gespräch aus der Küche und dem Flur hören! Das Bett hat bei jeder Bewegung geknarrt! Das Frühstück konnte man sich selbst machen, mit den Lebensmittel aus dem Gästekühlschrank! Aus hygienischen Gründen haben wir verzichtet!"
