„A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. „We stayed at Devinda's place for 4 nights in January. It is located not to far from Colombo with easy access to Southern Expressway and other amenities. It is very clean and located in a very safe area. Devinda communicated with us through out the booking process and leading up to the stay. Also helped us in getting settled. Very happy to recommend this place for any guests to stay in Colombo suburbs.“

„This property is a scam. I booked the reservation through Expedia and then Expedia/Vrbo. I didn't get the checkin instructions from the host. I called the host and no response. I called another phone number shared through VRBO and upon calling the person answered told me that the location is under construction. The Owner cannot be contacted. I went to the location and no one was there. So this is a big scam“

However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. „Dirty beds, bedsheets and bathroom. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Bathroom was leaking and dirty with spiders and spiderwebs. Room is like a jail, no windows. It was a horrible experience. I advise travellers to stay at Hatton and travel to Nallandeniya on time to clime Adam's peak.“
