So this was an interesting weekend. It might have involved the Coast Guard, a helicopter, and needing to be rescued, but that was the day before this was taken.

To try to salvage what was left of this trip, I had heard of a cypress swamp near Savannah. We ended up kayaking around this beautiful swamp and looking up at these mammoth trees with their roots totally exposed. The entire trip is about 8 miles, but where this was taken is a nice small paddle if you are interested.

„I just loved this rental. I hope to keep coming back. Thunderbolt is charming. The cottage was perfect for our needs. It was close to the dog park at Daffin park too, so we took our little dog for play time there. Tubby's Tank House was yummy and so convenient as was Tortuga's and Erica Davis Lowcountry. „This carriage house is a perfect spot to enjoy all of what Bluffton has to offer. Easily walkable to downtown, the house is roomy and quiet, with a comfortable bed and ample space for two. Downtown was full of options for food, and we especially liked Alljoy Donuts and Okan. Burnt Church Distillery was a nice surprise, offering a delicious menu and great space in addition to some fine bourbon and rye. Overall, a great stay!“

„The 2 bedroom was clean, very spacious, good showers, beds, plenty of basic necessities. I loved the decor and the exposed brick. Overall, we really enjoyed it. The one thing you might consider (for units that face the alley) there is a lot of delivery trucks/garbage/construction that start very early in the morning (like 4:30). "Es ist an sich ein schönes Hotel in guter Lage. Allerdings war es im Bad nicht sauber. Es waren überall Flecken, vor allem an der Toilette und an der Dusche nebenan. Die Couch hatte Flecken und insgesamt wirkte es nicht einladend und sauber. Wir waren nicht begeistert vom Hotel, insbesondere können wir die Bewertung nicht nachvollziehen. Wir würden nicht nochmal wiederkommen. "
