„We are a group of 8 ladies enjoying a weekend away and we had a wonderful weekend at Downs Cottage. The property was perfect… comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful decor, superb location, sauna was a bonus and the garden was very pretty. Deal itself was a very welcoming town, friendly people. We’d recommend Margarita’s for take away pizza and Mike’s Bikes for cycle hire. Walking distance into Deal from the cottage was about 30mins, which along the seafront was no time at all. „I have pictures of our disgusting dirty room with spider webs & uneven flooring. Smelly moldy rooms with wet stains on the walls and ceiling. The Wi-Fi didn’t work and neither did the TV. There was a tea kettle, but no tea or coffee. This looked nothing like the picture you showed!!! I would like my money refunded. I would not recommend this property to anyone! We slept in our clothes and couldn’t wait to get on the ship to shower and send our clothes to the laundry.“

„Had an excellent stay at the Old Town House. The location is perfect for anyone visiting Margate as you are a short 15min walk away from the train station and right in the old town centre next to great coffee shops, restaurants and more. „A wonderful cottage and a very nice interior. Ric as a host was absolutely easygoing und caring. Any request he answered within shortest time, which made us feel welcome and looked after very well. The cottage is very spacious and it was a terrific idea to change one of the former bedrooms into a huge bathroom. Heating and fireplace was working perfectly. We had ten wonderful days in Whitstable, where we come to for new year for nearly twenty years now ...“

„Lovely self contained property, in beautiful position right on the Syndale Valley trail and 2 miles from Doddington Gardens, well worth a visit. Property contained every facilitiy required, bath and walk in shower, plentiful hot water and comfy bed. Breakfast produce left for first morning which was a lovely touch, hosts very good, there but not too intrusive - a wonderful stay.“
