„When we arrived it was out of the way and near the golf course… seeing the ports potties in the yard next door was off putting but there was no smell so it was easy to look past them. The house and property was very pleasant and welcoming. Just enough room to be there comfortably. Everything we needed was there for us so we were great! „We had a wonderful stay on Paradise Lake! The adorable cottage is well appointed with all the comforts of home. The view from the living room is a beautiful view of the lake. It was peaceful and relaxing. The location is well lit at night. We appreciated all the amenities this place offered! We will be back to this hidden gem again!! „This little cabin by the river was such a nice place to unwind and explore all that the Willenborg Woods have to offer. The trails are clearly marked and take you through a variety of views. The hosts were responsive and helpful during the entire stay, with the highlight being a morning basket of farm fresh eggs, hot coffee, and a warm, delicious pastry. We could not recommend this rental enough!“

„Rented this home for U of I graduation. It is conveniently located - just about 5 minute drive to campus. Neighborhood is quaint and quiet. House had ample space and the kitchen had adequate amenities. Plenty of bath towels, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, paper towels supplied. We hung out in the backyard which had a nice patio table and chairs. Charming house in a charming, walkable area. We would certainly stay here again. “

„My friends and I needed a place to stay for a wedding downtown and this was the perfect place! We loved having a full bath on each of the 3 floors and appreciated how quiet and residential the area was. It was a 5-10 minute drive to everything we needed. We were able to get groceries nearby, walk to restaurants, and felt very safe. Finding parking was a breeze. The house itself was perfect for our needs. One thing to note is one of the "bedrooms" is located at the back of the top floor landing ...

„This house is much bigger than it looks from the outside! Very clean! No bugs or unwanted critters, considering it is right next to a beautiful creek. The only thing we missed was having some ambient lighting, some table lamps or something other than the overhead lighting everywhere. But maybe theft has been a problem for the owner in the past (?) Also know that if you plan on arrive any earlier than 4pm, check in with the owner for permission, because the door will not open until EXACTLY 4pm. ...

Good hotel

"Good hotel. Well maintained and clean. Had a nice room with separate bedroom plus main room with queen and sofa bed for two older sons. Pool was closed for maintenance. Breakfast was pretty good. Appreciated that they had real cups, glasses, plates, and silverware at breakfast rather than disposable."
