„Vivotel exceeded our expectations. The place is really modern once you enter and very well maintained, it is designed very well, the decor was very warm and welcoming with several seating area and even a little lounge space in the back. „During my stay, we experienced a moderate earthquake. The hotel handled it with great professionalism and concern for safety. They made sure all the guests and staff were secure and comfortable. “

„I was supposed to stay at the Westin with a group but was unable to since I waited too long. This place is 3 to 4 short blocks away. Sara the front desk lady is learning English and likes to practice, which is nice. The rooms were very spacious And more than I thought it would be. Nice hot tub, but didn't swim in the pool. I would definitely recommend this place.“

"Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sie aktualisieren immer wieder. Jetzt gibt es schnelleres Internet und die Matratzen werden ausgetauscht. Was mir aber gar nicht gefällt: man kann zwar seinen Hund mitbringen, allerdings kassieren sie für den 55 US$ zusätzlich. Die Hälfte müsste es sein!"

"Das Hotel ist schön und luxuriös, für mich als Raucher aber völlig ungeeignet: Es hat weder Balkone, noch sonst einen angenehmen Platz, wo man rauchen kann. Man muss also vor die Tür gehen und dort rauchen, was überhaupt nicht luxuriös ist. Für mich ist das Hotel Barceló das beste Hotel in Guatemala."
