„Wasnt clear how to check in, but rung in the morning and was advised to call to pub for room card. The room was very clean, and well presented. Can see they are looked after. Nice walk in shower with 2 separate heads. Plenty of storage for clothes etc. Bed was very comfortable and made for a great night sleep. The food served at the Pen Y Cae was amazing and all the staff we encountered throughout our stay were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. “

„Peaceful and relaxing lovely views “

„Simple self check in into a narrow hall way leading up some stairs to get to the rooms. This area was will lit and secure. The room itself was well equipped with fridge/freezer microwave kettle etc and fresh milk and bottled water was left in the fridge. Two wall mounted TV's with working remotes and cutlery and pots etc all available. Comfy bed with towels provided for the lovely bathroom with walk in shower. All in all everything you need for a short stay away.“

„My family stayed in the property for over a month, while we explored Wales and visited some friends in the Swansea area. The small village up in the mountains was absolutely beautiful, and the check in process was simple with a lock box and independent arrival time. Lorna was responsive when we had questions and had reccomendations for exploring the area and restaurants.Anyone staying should plan on topping up the electric and gas immediately. „A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future.“

„The property is in a beautiful location, the views from the garden are incredible. The facilities are all as mentioned, the hot tub was well maintained and a real luxury. The property wasn’t the cleanest, but in a rural location in great weather we didn’t spend much time on the house. The gardens are great and the land around is all accessible along with the animals on the farm. "Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr zentral. Das Hotelzimmer ist jedoch schon abgenutzt (fleckiger Teppichboden, Stockflecken an den Vorhängen) und auch nicht sehr sauber. Die Türen der Hotelzimmer fallen sehr laut zu. Man hört sowohl Zimmernachbarn als auch die Jugendlichen die draußen auf der Strasse täglich grölend vorbeiziehen."

"Wir waren sieben Tage in diesem Hotel und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen . Die Zimmer sind zwar klein , aber die Ausstattung ist den Räumlichkeiten entsprechen angenehm ausgestattet . Waren sehr zufrieden . Beim Fruhstück war alles vorhanden . Das Personal war sehr nett . Wir konnten sogar unseren Hund mit zum Fruhstück nehmen was wir als sehr schön fanden.. Wir wünschen dem Team des Hotels auch für die Zukunft ein gutes Händchen in der Betreuung ihrer Gäste ."

"Hotel sehr runtergekommen. Zu teuer für das was geboten wird. Sanitäre Einrichtungen sind aus dem vergangenen Jahrhundert. Betten schlecht, Sauberkeit insgesamt schwierig, alles sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Die Mitarbeiter geben ihr bestes. Aber der Service ist dennoch eine Katastrophe, auf keinen Fall das Frühstück buchen, es war so schlecht, dass ich es wieder storniert habe. "
