„Wow! We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! We had eight adults total (our three kids and their spouses), and it was the perfect fit. The main living room overlooking the Salmon River quickly became our favorite gathering spot — such a beautiful place to relax together. Our next favorite was the big kitchen table, large enough to seat all of us for sit-down dinners (yes, those are still possible with a little effort!).We loved the private master bedroom, while the more open upstairs space ...

Because you're in the woods, you won't have a view of the Sawtooth Mountains from the cabin. However, the cabin's close proximity to the Salmon River was a plus for relaxing and fishing. „This was a great property. Very unique as it is a converted in. Lots of open space for a family. Paul and Karl were great host and took good care of us. They went the extra mile for some sleeping arrangements. Would highly recommend this property in a beautiful place.“

„The cabin was very clean & well maintained. We enjoyed staying there but had a problem with the check in as we did not receive the door code & had to go off site to get cell service to contact the owner. Plus the same cabin was rented to another party on the same date. The owners were able to accommodate the other party with a different cabin. Other than that we had a very enjoyable stay. “

Northgate Inn Motel

"Nach über 200 Übernachtungen in den Staaten hatten wir nur eine Handvoll Ausreißer nach unten. Doch dieser Schuppen hat sogar das Motel California getoppt. Von außen noch recht annehmbar, wurde Einem drinnen vor Unordnung und Dreck schlecht. Zudem warteten Gäste schon seit Stunden auf den Check-in und Andere monierten, das die Schlösser an den Zimmertüren nicht funktionierten. Als wir dann die 100 Dollar für die Bruchbude gezahlt hatten, fanden wir eine offene Zimmertür, keine Kopfkissen, defekte Vorhänge und Schmutz vom vorherigen Gast vor. Lediglich der Röhrenfernseher sorgte für Heiterkeit. Wir reklamierten die fehlenden Kopfkissen und baten um Ersatz und unternahmen noch einen vierstündigen Ausflug. Als wir gegen 21 Uhr zurück kamen, war niemand an der Rezeption, unsere Zimmertür immer noch offen, keine Kopfkissen da, die Zimmertür vom Nachbarn aufgebrochen, Lärm im ganzen Gebäude und rauchende Gäste auf dem Flur. Wir erwarteten eigentlich die Auflösung zu "Candid Camera", aber leider war das alles bittere Realität. Nach drei Stunden Halbschlaf verließen wir das versiffte Etablissement. Wer bei Verstand ist, sollte um diesen Schuppen einen Bogen machen! "
