It had a very nice view from the roof top and the description of getting up to it was very accurate but the air conditioner that was in the room did not work very well and it was very warm in there. „This place is a hidden gem!! the rooms are rundown, but have what you need. They even have extra beach gear, including bags, towels, toys to borrow.Dave and Karen run it like a bed-and-breakfast -where they take care of their guests and they encourage guests to get to know each other. We met a lot of nice people during the rum punch happy hour and breakfast time. We will definitely stay here when we return to St. John!“

„WOULD RETURN! The cottage is clean, accommodating, has access to outdoors with a great view, and is private. The bedrooms are nicely sized and AC keeps the entire place cool. „Location most definitely stands out for this cottage! You are as close as you possibly could be to Cruz Bay-Restaurants, Bars, Live music, Grocery Store and Coffee Shop!You have your own entrance to your cottage which was nice, extra beach towels in the laundry room, and beach chairs and snorkel gear were also provided! Note: There is roaster that lives here and can be pretty loud in the mornings. The hill back up from the restaurant/bar area is not for the weak. Highly recommend! “

„We were met at the ferry dock by Michelle who took us and our luggage to the Grande Bay Resort where she handed us our room keys and gave us an overview of the studio and resort amenities. The studio is well equipped with a small kitchen and washer and dryer with plenty of room for a couple. A view of Cruz Bay from the balcony made for a good spot for morning coffee and the location allows you to be anywhere in Cruz Bay in just a few minutes (including a short walk to the Dolphin Market). „This was our 6th trip to the islands and we were looking forward to being in a villa that was walkable to Cruz Bay. We are athletic and the hill was a great workout, and we enjoyed that part of walking but not everyone could navigate this. The location is walkable distance wise, but it is on a very busy road without a sidewalk or space to walk that is not on the road. I would say it is a bit dangerous villa to walk and be very cautious if walking. The Market nearby was great and we were thankful ...
