„We had an excellent trip. River was amazing and we especially liked reading the Legends of the Au Sable book that was left for guests. House had everything we needed including toiletries and extra blankets. Visiting the state park nearby was a highlight. „Cottage was super cozy. Very accommodating. The neighbors were extremely friendly. Even though we ended up with a pretty chilly memorial weekend, it was super nice with bonfire and warm cottage. Ample parking and roads straight to trails and clear lake party store/bar/gas station to just jump in machine and take a quick ride to get last minute essentials. Will definitely love to book again!! And bonus had a land line that was helpful if we lost reception. “

„Our family had the best stay and the best experience with Naomi. She was so incredibly helpful with suggestions and streamlining our visit. We had a couple hiccups (from our own doing) and Naomi was so fast to respond and accommodate us. Another thing that super surprised us was the location of the rental. We could walk into town! „Family and friends drove up to spend a long weekend near Higgins Lake. We’ve headed up north for years and have never stayed near Higgins. Beautiful lake! The house is clean and comfortable and a relaxing space for our home base. Great kitchen. We would stay here again. Thank you for sharing it.“

„8 adults went for the weekend for a local wedding across the lake at Sojourn. That facility was booked up. The Bigfoot Lodge was a FANTASTIC alternative, and I would say even better than staying on site. The rooms were clean. The firepit in the backyard was perfect - wood and starter bundles ready to go! There is a dock with lake toys to utilize. We rented a pontoon boat for transport to and from the wedding across the lake - able to tie up at the dock without issue. The property manager was ...
