„The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. „Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing! She gave us suggestions for food and attractions to visit. She told us to call anytime for anything. She was so very sweet and friendly. A jewel she is. ...

„This was an amazing cottage. My boys, our pups, and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was stocked with everything we needed for both fun and relaxation. We loved the bench swings, hammock, and the reading barn for relaxation, and there were plenty of kayaks and canoes to choose from for fun. The host was very helpful and available when/if needed. There was some bad weather on our first night, and he even called to check on us the next morning. We will definitely be back!“

Unfortunately, the power was out half of our stay because of the hurricane but the house was still comfortable with many windows we could open and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy during the day. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit, grill and outdoor picnic area. We'd stay again if we are ever in the area! “

„After I small set back upon arrival our stay was wonderful. It's everything you want in an old farmhouse that has been very well updated from kitchen and bathroom supplies to linens and comforters everything is provided. Outdoor fireplaces and acres to explore. We were there for work but hoping to come back when we have more time to enjoy this beautiful home.“
