The aura of the cottage is very warm and friendly and it still feels like the house is inhabited by a happy family. We especially enjoyed the combination of the open kitchen, dining area and living room. The stair to the first floor does not feel steep at all if you do it like a sailor during a storm: just lean forward or backwards. Even if the cottage is not located ...

„A fantastic find. The cottage had everything you could wish for including a huge secure walled garden for our Setter lad. The cottage is one of two so normally we would have shared the garden but this time we had it to ourselves, something to consider if your pet prefers their own space. Two cafes very close by, a short walk to the village harbour and places to eat. Would thoroughly recommend and we will certainly return. “

"Schnuckliges Hotel, das noch so viel mehr Potenzial hätte. Das Haus ist von innen und außen richtig toll. Man fühlt sich wie in einer alten Landadelsresidenz. Mit dem Flair kommen aber auch die Problemchen wie starke Hellhörigkeit und mangelnde Möglichkeiten zur Luft und Temperaturregulierung in den Zimmern. Wir haben unsere Übernachtung hier dennoch genossen, aber für längere Aufenthalte müsste ein wenig nachgebessert werden."

"Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage mit einem wirklich schönen Zimmer. Leckeres Frühstück. Leider waren uns die Betten zu hart. Sehr störend fanden wir, dass die Dusche nur über eine fest montierte Brause an der Wand und keine Handbrause verfügt. Die Abgrenzung zur Toilette war ein Duschvorhang. Das, an sich tolle Waschbecken befindet sich im Schlafzimmer auf Teppichboden und nicht im Bad. "

"Wir waren dort für 1ne Übernachtung. Es war der HAMMER! Ganz tolles Hotel. Würden es jederzeit wieder buchen! Haben uns total wohlgefühlt. Das ist für uns typisch Schottland. Auch die Einrichtung vom Hotel und Zimmer total urig. Hatten ein Zimmer mit Flussblick. Sehr zu empfehlen! Zimmer absolut sauber!!! Mitarbeiter super herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren im Hotel auch essen. Das war sehr sehr lecker und gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Service auch hier TOP! Absolut empfehlenswert! "
