„I was home by myself with my kids for the weekend and wanted to do something fun with them. We had an absolute BLAST! Let me just say… the view over the creek is GORGEOUS. It was like out of a magazine and when we arrived. I kid you not… a bald eagle flew out of the trees and soared around me and my children when we walked up to the creek, skimming the water and soaring around us. It was AMAZING.So that's how our trip began.. And it was fun times to follow with fishing, creek jumping, tubing, ...

„The cabin is at the perfect place, literally one minute walk from the lake, they have kayaks & PFDs, chairs for you to sit by the water or fire. Main bed is great, there are extra sofa beds and a small bedroom. A perfect getaway for a couple or family. “

„Despite a crappy situation as to why we were in town visiting, this property made it all worth it! Everything was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The interior was so welcoming and beautifully decorated. The exterior is absolutely gorgeous with all natural scenery and the landscaping adds the finishing touches. The location is great too as you are submerged in the wilderness but are just a few minutes away from the local towns. My husband and I would definitely stay here again! “

„The place was super clean well kept. Safe area lots of things to do and see. There is a sing seat by the river watch is magical. The inn keeper is so humble and kind. She is very Accompadating. And there is a trian ride that takes you to Jim Thorne. Will definitely be back again in October for the fall festival and the changing of the leaves.“

„This was the perfect place for our family of 4 to spend the last two nights of a very busy camping/hiking trip. After spending some time hiking at Worlds End State Park we stayed here. I realaxed on the porch while my husband and sons went fishing. A nice little reprieve. Hit the three C's...cute, comfy, and clean. Host was great to work with as well. “

„We really enjoyed our stay at the Elk Creek Escape. The pictures were very accurate to the current cabin. The hosts were responsive before our stay and when we were on our way. „The check-in was very easy, we received the code before leaving and punched it in when we arrived and had no issues. The fireplace in the living room had a remote, and you could set the thermostat from the wall. It is a great location, a very quiet spot in the woods, we even saw deer in the back yard, but also close to town and local events. The kitchen has everything you need, and the bed was very comfortable. It was the perfect blend of rustic with all the modern conveniences.“

„Great weekend in this cute cabin! This cabin is 1/4 mile from the Glen Lot trailhead parking lot and approx 4 miles from the Ricketts Main Entrance. Restaurants, store and ice cream is right down the street from the cabin. Cabin was as listed. In a peaceful and quiet setting. “
