„The owner is very very nice. We biked from nyc, and heading to upstate NY. We booked this hotel at the last minute because it's close to empire State trail. The room is quiet and clean. The owner allowed my kids to pick the strawberry, raspberries and tomatoes. Everything tasted so sweet right off the vine. This literally made their day. „Fantastic cottage! Neighbors hardly around and deck large and comfy. The enclosed porch was huge and allowed card game fun! My 92 year old Mom was craving quiet and peaceful lake vibes and this cottage was perfect. New large Roku tv was great! Comfy couches and well equipped kitchen! The owner John was quick to respond to questions before we got there so I knew what to bring. Easy parking and no step in. THANKS John!“

„Beautiful cabin in beautiful setting. Cabin was well furnished, had well stocked kitchen, and modern amenities. There were lots of attractions within 30 minute, scenic drives from the cabin such as Tanglewood, Monument Mountain, and other Berkshire and Columbia County attractions. Avid cyclists will find smooth roads with good shoulders and light traffic. As noted n another review, there is a rail line about one mile from the cabin, thus inevitable noise on occasion. „Very nice, small apartment. Very clean and comfortable. There was no cross ventilation, but the AC worked fine. Great place for a night or two and conveniently located near wedding venues. I would have liked to know in advance that the street number was not on the mailbox on the road, but figured it out. Probably best to ask for a landmark. We would definitely stay again if in the area.“

„Nice owners very helpful everything was in great shape but they needed to repair cold water faucet handle in bathroom I couldn’t seem to get the key to the entrance door to work so just left it unlocked. The place was all quality furnished and very clean. I would definitely recommend it “

„I was fortunate enough to stay here for most of the summer. The location of the cabin is amazing. The Berkshires, The Catskills, The Adirondacks are all a short distance away. So many great towns nearby too... Great Barrington, Chatham, Hudson, Stockbridge, Lenox, Pittsfield, Woodstock and so many more. Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Tanglewood, MacHayden Theatre, Bearsville Theatre and so many other venues offer some culture and the list of restaurants goes on forever. Farmers markets on ...

„Great stay! It is a farm house so don't expect the Ritz. The house is very tastefully rebuild and furnished. The expanded living quarters/ kitchen all about spending time together in a great space. We found everything we were looking for, the sonos system worked like a charm and so did the hot tub.If there was one suggestion to the owner, the stair to the second floor should have a handrail for people that are not super mobile. Currently it is a steep stair without anything to hold on to. ...

„We stayed at Ray's house in August 2025 for two nights -- two adults 8 year old twins. It's a great house! Perfect size for us with very comfy beds. It was also very well-stocked with extra towels and all the toiletries you may need. Communication with Ray both before and during the stay was excellent. Highly recommend! “
