„My wife really liked the rustic feel of the place and was impressed with how clean it was at the same time. For me, it felt like a retirement property that I’d had for years, it was very welcoming. We didn’t take advantage of the water (kayaks, fishing, etc..) but we had friends over and used the grill to cook. We’d take our dogs outside in the back of the house and there was never any problem. „My family and I stayed in this beautiful home for a few nights while I was in town for a work event. The property is conveniently located a short drive away from numerous family attractions which made it easy for us to create some good memories. We loved the hot tub with a very nice view of St. Louis. The only downside we found was the lack of privacy the master suite had from the rest of the house. “

„Me and a couple buddies were looking for a place to stay close to Forbes Lake for a small club tournament. This is a great place to stay, clean, comfortable and extremely secluded and secure. Lots of deer and probably plenty of bluegill in the pond out back. Nice grill as well. Would definitely stay again. “

„15 minutes from gateway center in Collinsville, IL. Very nice neighborhood with a beautiful lake that is filled with fish, turtles, and ducks that our kids loved. We enjoyed the comfortable beds.“

„Good stay. Home is as described. Heads up, no WiFi and our AT&T did not work there. WiFi is not listed as an amenity so that’s on me for assuming. Great communication with owner. “

„Six adults and one grandchild in town for a wedding. Loved having everybody under one roof! House was spotless on our arrival; Jennifer let us know we could check in early if we wanted to. House was well stocked and beds nice and comfy. Very convenient location, just a few minutes drive to church and reception. Also within walking distance of town square and multiple restaurants.Would definitely stay there again.“

„I am originally from East St. Louis so when I normally visit I usually stay in Sy. Louis. This time I decided to stay in Illinois and I absolutely loved it. It felt like home away from home. The neighborhood was quiet and my boys enjoyed the backyard. We will definitely stay there on our next visit!!“

"In einer ruhigen Gegend liegendes Hotel was aber in die Jahre gekommen ist und wieder renoviert werden sollte. Das Frühstück war für uns auch ausreichend gewesen. Einige Möbel im Zimmer waren etwas stark gebraucht und das Sofa durchgelegen. Zum schlafen und frühstücken dennoch vollkommen in Ordnung. "
