„Wonderful vacation spot. The apartment was large, clean, close to the lake. Perfect spot to walk around the lake, walk to shops and restaurants and coffee spots. Right across from Olympic rinks and museum. The kitchen was well stocked and having access to laundry room was great. Driving to hiking trailheads was easy and quick from this location “

„Large, very family friendly accomodations. We arrived on a very hot day and the air conditioners and fans were going full blast and it was so comfortable. Everything was neat and tidy. The view was spectacular. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own food. The host left coffee and bottled water for us, which was appreciated. It is quite dated but for us that was part of the charm. We enjoyed the game room and board games.“

„Very peaceful and tranquil property. Minutes from whiteface mountain and you get to take in all the snowy views. We were lucky enough to have a snowstorm the night we stayed and it was a winter wonderland. The amenities were great and Steve was very responsive. “

„We had a beautiful stay at the cabin. The leaves were newly turning and it is close to many places for a walk in the woods. We hiked to the loom lake fire tower, kayaked, made marshmallows and enjoyed the outdoors. Also found a large amount of chicken of the woods mushrooms in the woods behind the cabin! “

„We enjoyed our stay. The location is great. Private lake access. Great biking in the Champlain Islands. The house met our needs and was comfortable.“

Cambria Hotel Lake Placid - Lakeside Resort

"Das Cambria Hotel war das schönste auf unserer 4-wöchigen Reise durch die Neu-Englandstaaten. Das lag vor allem an den herzlichen Mitarbeitern (vom Hotel-Manager David angefangen) über die Leute an der Rezeption und im Restaurant. Zudem hat das Hotel einige Annehmlichkeiten, die deutlich über dem Durchschnitt liegen. (Laundry, Innenpool, Restaurant-Terrasse mit schönen Möbeln, Kajaks und Tretboote zum Ausleihen und einer schönen Aussenanlage am See mit Feuerstellen) Wir haben uns in dem schönen, recht großzügigen Zimmer mit Pantry, mit Ausblick auf die Berge und dem tollem Badezimmer sehr wohl gefühlt. Von uns gibt es eine Empfehlung für Lake Placid für dieses Hotel."

"Tolles Hotel in Burlington. Das Bett war super bequem und das Zimmer groß und gut ausgestattet. Auch der Rest des Hotels sind schön für einen Aufenthalt. Es gibt eine gute Bar in der man abends gute Cocktails genießen kann. Das Frühstück ist aber leider nicht empfehlenswert, viel zu überteuert für das was man bekommt. Trotz Hilton Status gab es seitens des Hotels keinerlei Bemefits was sehr schade ist. "
