„This cabin was very cozy! It was perfect for my husband, dog and myself. We had a great time driving through the mountains and then relaxed on the cabin. We splashed in the creek and enjoyed the sound of it from the lookout lodge. “

„We had a GREAT weekend!!!!!!!!!The place was immaculate, with so many supplies. Most peaceful place we have ever been to. Loved the hot tub, fire pit, kitchen and the ability to come with our 2 little dogs.“

„We went to a concert at Bryce Jordan center. Checked into house then walked for dinner. Drove to concert then back to house. Next morning walked around town and had breakfast. It was a great location and perfect size for an over night“

„The house was very clean very new. We had five people and the one that was on the couch just slept on the couch. Did not use the bed as the couch is a nice size. We were only there for one night very fast to turn around. Did not get a chance to check and see if there were any games for fun activities to do in case it was raining. But I will definitely return. It was a beautiful place and need to be so close to the lift bridge“

„The cabin was nice. The bathhouse required us to get in the car as it was a not near by. Be sure to bring a top sheet and blankets for the beds. Thankfully we had some with us. Overall it met our needs. “

„The Octagon was a great venue for a Memorial Day Weekend trip of eight life-long friends. Our 47th year! The house was perfect sized and offering room to hang out inside as well as outside by the fire pit. We cooked three dinners and found the kitchen perfect for our needs. Very secluded and no fear of disturbing neighbors with music or yelling during horseshoes matches. „I celebrated 40 years since my Penn State graduation with my senior college roommate at this cabin just a couple miles from Poe Valley State Park. It was a nice peaceful setting near a small stream. The cabin had everything we wanted. Liked the screened-in porch and the recliners (we're getting old). You do need to drive a few miles of dirt roads to get to this area, but the cabin is along a paved road near a small village of cabins just outside the state parks of Poe Valley and Poe Paddy. ...
