Der Ort Dollar ist zwar klein, hat aber mit kleinem Supermarkt, Bäckerei etc. alles, was man so braucht. Danke für die schöne Zeit!“

„The little cabin is situated perfectly for a Scotland trip. It is a hidden gem right on front of the Ochil hills and only 35 minutes from Edinburgh. If you want to visit the Highlands you need around 1 till 2 hours. We enjoyed the surroundings so much. It's like fairytale land basically. The two hosts are lovely. „Had a great stay over new year at the properties. One family in one bungalow and us in the other. Property was clean and fresh. Beautiful welcome items left for us by the owners, who were lovely and couldnt do enough for us. Woke up to the spectacular views and literally could have sat and watched the horses all day! The lodges were cosy and warm. We all loved it. The only thing i would have preferred was a slightly earlier check-in time, perhaps 3pm instead of 5pm. But thats just wee personal ...

Von hier hat man einen idealen Ausgangspunkt nach Stirling und Edinghburgh und kehrt anschließend in eine herrliche Idylle zurück. „Cottage was excellent, with an amazing welcoming grocery pack which was really appreciated and unexpected. Cottage was next to a small river which after the rain turned into a swollen river. Everyone was really friendly, will be returning and recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the area.“

„Sehr schönes Gebäude in zentraler Lage von Linlithgow. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Touren durch die Lowlands. Mir war allerdings nicht klar, dass es sich um ein reines Aparthotel handelt (Frühstück wird in der eigenen Küche selbst zubereitet, keine Bar o. ä. im Haus). Die Rezeption ist nur weniger Stunden am Tag besetzt, in der übrigen Zeit muss jeder Kontakt über Telefon erfolgen.“

„The modern kitchen, beautiful grounds and historic stairways and rooms were so clean and comfortable for us. I was impressed because it’s not easy to keep such an old property in such a clean condition! I even had a bath one night. We loved exploring the woods and small stream around the house as well as getting out to other spots around Scotland. The house was out of the way but easily accessible even for those used to driving on the other side of the road! Loved our time here. Only downside ...
