„This is our 4th time booking with Melissa - our first here at Linville. This cabin is cozy and beautifully decorated and maintained. Several things to do in the area. Pet friendly but very clean home. The area seems very pet friendly too. Melissa was very responsive and helpful from checking to check out. Highly recommend! “

„For the cost of what we paid for the rental, it was fantastic. It has 2 great outdoor spaces, with a top and lower deck. It is small, but enough space for what we needed. It needs a few simple things, that I noticed others mention, like more towels. We are 60 guest and had to maneuver to get up the outdoor steps and to get in to the high ledge bath tub/showers. We found the furniture and beds comfortable. The kitchen had just about anything you could use, but a big pot to boil spaghetti. We ...

„This was our second stay at the cabin my son and I loved it. We spent pretty much the whole time at the cabin just hanging out and watching movies. “

„We booked this house for our party of 12 including adults, teenagers, and young children. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful decor, serene location, proximity to activities, and included amenities. The kids loved the arcade game and pool table while the adults were grateful for the well stocked kitchen. When several problems popped up (electrical upstairs and missing bedding for the rollaway bed,) the call center arranged for a quick response. Just above the creek there is a pond which has been stocked with fishfor catch and release fishing. „Our stay at the Great Escape Lodge was fantastic! The house is a magnificent historical structure. All rooms were ready and perfect for our arrival (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, etc...all perfect). „Everything was seamless from check in to check out. The owners are wonderful, even calling me a couple days before to let me know about an HVAC issue and our options surrounding that. The cabin was very clean and updated and had everything we needed and more. All of the furniture was comfortable and well maintained. Our favorite thing to do during our stay was sit on the deck to enjoy the beautiful view and watch the thunderstorms. We will definitely be returning “

"Hed a giacantic smell of smoke in my room"

"I had slightly higher expectations before arriving at the hotel. The check-in staff were fine, but I was hoping for a bit more of that Southern hospitality. When we got to our room, we noticed a lot of noise from the road, so we went back down to request a room change, which they handled without any issues—this was fantastic. The room itself was quite nice, with a very comfortable bed, though the bathroom was a bit small but functional. I also want to highlight the number and quality of the towels, which were excellent. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the breakfast much. It was impossible to avoid single-use plastic, which, as Europeans, we find difficult due to the amount of waste it generates. The dining area also felt a bit drab and uninviting. Another downside was the housekeeping. Despite requesting, confirming, and leaving the sign on the door for daily cleaning, we returned one evening to find that no one had come to clean the room, which was disappointing."
