„First time to this area. Many hotels and cabins avaliable. This is the only one actually on the water. It's essentially a house boat so small like an RV. But very clean, nicely decorated and fully equipped. Can fish off the back deck. Also well located to explore the area. Would stay again. “

„This is an absolutely immaculate one bedroom apartment in what I can only describe as an idyllic setting, surrounded by nothing but tall trees and water. This is one where the pictures truly don't do the property justice. It's like the owners sat down and made a list of anything someone could want in a little lakeside hideaway then just provided all of it, from Keurig cups to kayaks. „This was the second time my 3 siblings and spouses have stayed here. It is perfect for a quiet and relaxing long weekend. Colleen is wonderful to work with and the house is VERY clean. It may be quiet but the house supplies lots of games and water access when summer time. I highly recommend staying in Secret Slough! “

„The cabin was perfect for a pair of bass fishermen. Close to downtown Guntersville, easy access to boat ramps, and space for your boat with power hookup. There’s room to hangout inside, on the covered porch, or around the fire pit. Mary was awesome. “

„We were in town for a family birthday celebration over Memorial Day weekend. The house was very comfortable and in an easy location to reach all Guntersville has to offer. The neighborhood was quiet. Communication with the property owner was excellent. Unlike many rentals, this property does not have the usual incidentals so bring your own soap or shower gel, laundry supplies, and first morning coffee. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. “

„If you want to get away, this is a great spot near Lake Guntersville. The owner was very responsive during our stay and was willing to work with you to make your stay more comfortable. I appreciate the overhanging for boats or cars at the side of the cabin. Everything was clean, and kitchen had enough cooking wear for make good meals for the family. I would stay here again!“

„Family girls trip. Just the place to relax by the water. Plenty of beds. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of linens. Very peaceful place to stay. Private and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!“
