„We had such a wonderful stay at this country cottage! Everything was lovely. The cottage itself is beautiful—inside and out. It had everything we needed, including the extra perk of a hot tub! We enjoyed watching fireflies at dusk and coffee on the porch in the morning. The rooms had a great set-up and the beds were extra comfortable. Our host, Gary, was so kind and helpful. „If you are looking for modern and new this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a spacious well loved home, you have found it. Everything was very clean! 4 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a study, large dinning and furnish kitchen. The art decorating the home is beautiful and the view is stunning. Can you imagine having a private lake with your very own waterfall and path thur the woods. I highly recommend Montlake Retreat. “

„My husband and I always stay at a VRBO when we go out of town, and this was by far the best one we’ve stayed at. The cabin was super clean and had so much charm. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub each night. We were also able to back our 20ft bass boat under the carport, which was awesome! We will definitely be coming back!“

„We hosted a family reunion! It was everything we hoped for! Kids loved the lake, boating and fishing! The accommodations were perfect! There was more than enough space for our large group cookouts, gathering on the decks to watch the sunsets, and storytelling in the living room space. Beverly is a great host! Communication A!!! „This particular area of Watts Bar Lake is probably the best view on the whole lake for sunsets. Aside from the views, the house is amazing with plenty of beds and bathrooms. We also made use of the boatlift, which is conveniently located in a community dock area below the house that’s easily accessible by golf cart. For those looking for hiking or running, there are plenty of roads and trails (just be aware, very hilly). “

„We were only here for 3 nights and it rained almost 1 whole day, we still had a great time. We brought our boat and the grandkids and they had a blast. The convince of having our own boat ramp and covered doc was amazing. The view from the property is incredible. Host was very timely in responding to messages and made our checkin process very easy. They say it was the best vacation ever!!!“

The cabin was spotless and communication with the owners was so easy and they were super helpful! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My family felt at home in this cabin!!“
