„Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gefallen. Dies lag vor allem daran, dass man mitten in der Natur ist und es einfach total grün ist. Der Garten ist sehr schön. Die Terasse ist klasse, dort kann man super essen, während Vögel und Geckos da sind. Zu erwähnen ist auch, dass es nachts Geräusche durch Frösche gibt, was wir klasse fanden, aber sehr laut ist und es dahwr ggf Personen geben könnte, die dies stört. Einziger negativer Punkt: es ist nichts fußläufig oder schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen, wenn ...

„Das Haus ist sehr grosszügig, sehr sauber und hat alles, damit man sich wohlfühlen kann. Die Lage ist optimal, um viele Hotspots von Big Island erkunden zu können. Die verschiedenen Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten, wie Billiard, Fahrräder oder Basketball konnten wir auch immer wieder nutzen. Ein rundum toller Aufenthalt im Haus von Howard. Vielen Dank!“

„Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Tolles Haus mit allem was man braucht. Zuerst mussten wir uns an die nächtlichen Geräusche der Frösche gewöhnen. Auch hatten wir die Kälte in der Nacht unterschätzt. Jedoch konnten wir mit dem Ofen im Wohnzimmer dem rasch Abhilfe schaffen. Die Infos, die wir vorab von Matt erhielten, waren sehr hilfreich. Danke!“

„We entered the place with both grandparents and kids, 8 people in total. The 4 nights were absolutely too short to enjoy everything but the time we had was great. The house itself is very comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean. The view is amazing! Hilo as city is fantastic and the volcano park is a must to go. We did barbecue and enjoyed the house. Thanks to the parents of Robin for your hospitality and the nice coffee and cookies. Mahalo!“

„We were using this place as a base, from which we explored the eastern half of Big Island. For us as a family of 4, it was a great place, which provided an individual room for both of our kids. We also really enjoyed the provided snorkelling gear and beach equipment. Communication with the hosts was very good. Our only minor point of concern during our stay was that the washing machine had broken down prior to our arrival and wasn't available to us, but we managed without.“

„This cottage felt like our very own Fern Gully! It was beautiful, inviting, had great amenities (we especially loved the faux fireplace). My only feedback would be that the bed could be a little more comfortable. But otherwise, no complaints!“

„It was a fantastic experience. The house was lovely and the garden fantastic. We enjoyed our stay immensely. It is a great place to just relaxe and watch the birds. For us the sound at night was really amazing.“

„We absolutely loved our stay at this VRBO and would return in a heartbeat! Despite the previous guests leaving a mess and causing a few minor issues, the owner went above and beyond to have everything ready and comfortable for us right away. Their responsiveness and care made all the difference.The home itself was one of the most peaceful places we stayed during our time in Hawaii. „We felt at home right away in this cozy, tastefully furnished and quiet log cabin. We really enjoyed the hot tub, the fire place and the birds singing in the forest. The location is perfect for visiting the volcano park even at night. Knowing about the cameras beforehand was very helpful.“

"Leider stimmen die Bewertungen zum Frühstück nicht mehr mit der Realität überein. Es gibt kein selbstgebackenes Brot mehr. Nur noch Cerialien und Obst. Das ist nicht wirklich Continental Breakfast. Ein hervorragendes Frühstück wie in früheren Bewertungen ist es leider nicht mehr. Die Besitzer sind quasi unsichtbar. Kontakt via texting. Das Zimmer selbst (Orchid Suite) ist sehr schön. Ich wünsche den Besitzern dass sie zu ihrer früheren Qualität zurückkehren können. Die Basis ist da."
