„Very clean inside, and nice kitchen, but nothing was set up outside for guests. Had to clean all the outdoor furniture to use it, some of which was broken. Inside, the freezer did not open more than a few inches (not usable), and the tv was not set up in the bedroom. Otherwise, cannot beat the location!“

„Lake front and totally private; we fell asleep to the waves. The location is what makes this property incredible. We spent almost all of our time outside and enjoyed it thoroughly, including plenty of boats, chairs, and sand tots provided by the owner. There is a weirdly heavy infestation of fruit flies throughout the house that was unpleasant, some of the linens weren’t clean, and a few lights didn’t work. Peter was a responsive and gracious host!“

„ Our group had 10 teenagers and the hot tub and game room in the garage were BIG hits. The ski room was a perfect place to contain all the equipment and dry the gear. The dryer was a bonus! We had plenty of room for the 13 of us and proximity to the slopes was very convenient. “

„This was a great place. The host was incredibly communicative and nice. It was a quick walk to restaurants and shops for necessities. The house was spacious and offered many activities. This was an outstanding location to take day trips out to various locations in the Western portion of Northern Michigan.“

„Cabin was basic but well supplied with essentials. Took an email to determine how to turn on the heater but host responded in a timely fashion. easy drive to Mesick and surrounding area we wished to visit,. Quiet and nicely furnished and allowed dogs as well (for a fee).“

„Our stay was very comfortable. Extras like coffee, shampoo etc. were a nice surprise.And we really enjoyed chilling on the deck.Good views over the lake and a nice quiet neighborhood. “

„Loved the campfire at night, the privacy, but ease of location. It was so close to the lake and close to the small town. Kitchen allowed us to cook all of our meals there. We felt like the owners had us in mind when they prepared things. The garage space was a great bonus for staging tubes for the river or for the kids to hang out. Pictures don't entirely capture how much space is in the house. Would definitely stay again!“
