„This cabin is the perfect place to get away from it all, but in comfy conditions. We enjoyed breakfast and evenings looking at the lake and seeing turtles, birds, cranes, a bald eagle, and fish! The cabin has everything you need for a comfy stay. You are only a few mies from town, but it seems like you are further than that. Definitely pick up groceries in town because you will not want to leave to shop. I wish we had time to eat / shop at the Rustic Duck beside it, but time just not permit ...

„The place was great for my kid and I to have a weekend away.“

„Beautiful setting on Appleton City Lake. Cottages are right on the lake and it was fun to wake up to the mist rising from the lake, rooster crowing in the distance. Later enjoy sitting in the sunshine and watching the ducks and sparrows on the lake, also heard some cows mooing. Just enjoy the fresh country air! Rustic Duck restaurant was very accommodating too. “

„Unfortunately we were in town for a wedding so we didn't get to use the fire pit but we will be coming back for a second stay! The wagon is so unique and the host, Chris, tours you through and tells you all about it and the campground. Its beautiful and well stocked for a relaxing weekend. Definitely would recommend for people who want a fun stay or outdoorsy people. “

„This house was absolutely beautiful! Very roomy for a big number of guests, was about 16 min from Walmart, so not a bad drive to town. The country setting was nice and peaceful. The large game room was also very nice touch, we enjoyed it. Had all the amenities we needed. If we are ever up that way again will definitely stay again. “

„We stayed just a night at the cabin while visiting KC area for basketball tournament. Property was great, had everything we needed for a night stay. Was very clean. Chris was great with everything that we needed. Great location, right by I-49, but far enough to not hear traffic. Very peaceful at night. We will definitely be back if given an oportunity. “

„Overall the experience was great, there was a pretty loud big dog that would bark next door when we would come and go especially at night that wasn’t ideal, but not the owners fault. The dog did eventually quiet down. The area was on a decently quiet cul de sac so not like there is a bunch of through traffic there which makes it quieter.
