„Our family met here for a four generation family reunion. This location had something for everyone - lake access, pool table, plenty of rooms with private restrooms. We had 20 people in our group from 1 yo to 94, and everyone was able to stay comfortably. I highly recommend renting a boat and tube as that was certainly a hit for the several family members. The host is responsive and friendly. Great memories made here!“

„We booked this event house for our small sized wedding. Our family and friends enjoyed the stay here. The house has many bedrooms and enough parking for all the guests. Host is very nice and replied to us quickly. Host even gave us flexible checkin and checkout time. We took some wedding photos in front of the house and back yard and They all looked good. We are definitely satisfied and would recommend this house to anyone who would host a small event here.“

„I absolutely loved everything about this home! It’s beautiful, just a short walk to the dock with an amazing view of the lake. My favorite spot was the patio, where we enjoyed breakfast each morning while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The location is also perfect, with plenty of places to visit nearby. The owner was wonderful to work with—very responsive and thoughtful—providing so many extras that made our stay feel special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!“

„This house was perfect for our group of ten with ensuite bedrooms for all and large seating areas inside and out. It is located on a quiet street and has plenty of parking with a large circular driveway and carport for two cars. The owner/manager is very responsive and the checkin and checkout process was a breeze. The lake is beautiful and there's a marina just around the corner. We look forward to returning to this wonderful house.“

„Perfect location for my quick overnight. Know Athens well as previous resident. Great privacy, location a quick walk or uber and snap you’re downtown/Sanford Stadium. Super easy to find, you feel like you’re in the woods with all the evergreens/green vegetation. Clean, equipped with what you need for overnight or longer stay. Location awesome for college campus/downtown you name it.“

„Lovely view of lake! Great pool!“

„There was a short walk to the dock. We enjoyed swimming and sunning off the dock. We rented a boat to water ski. We enjoyed cooking out on the upper porch. We had fires in the fire pit and roasted marshmallows which the children enjoyed. We also enjoyed visiting the areas of Atlanta and Gainesville. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.“

I was touched by the thoughtful welcome basket and hand-written note from the host with a cell phone number to text if we had any questions. „The property was as advertised. Everything was very clean. The host was accessible and responsive. Simple check in process with clear instructions. The beds were insanely comfortable with wonderful sheets. The host also provided snacks. Wonderful touch. I would have loved to stay longer but my schedule did not permit. The stay was very cozy. It’s a much better option that staying at a hotel. “
