„I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. The accommodation is dated but I knew that from the photos it was very clean though & i was surprised to find all the essentials had ben left. I wasn’t expecting that so had brought it all with me. „Looking good at first sight it was a bit disappointing. No breakfast, no interest in giving us a good experience. Lacks maintainance, cleaning and clearing which is a shame as it looks cute and has proven to be a good starting point for our trip to Wales. “

„Lovely cottage in a nice village. Great starting place for day trips to London and Canterbury. Supplies and home baked bread were waiting for us - really nice touch. All in all a great stay and I would recommend a visit. 5*****“

„Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. „The house is perfect for a getaway in the Weald. It was spotlessly clean. A nice welcome package with milk, cereal and tea made breakfast easy. Everything was in good nick. Recommend their pub The Kings Head in nearby Staplehurst. Also 50 minutes to London from there if you want no more beautiful countryside.“

„We are a group of 8 ladies enjoying a weekend away and we had a wonderful weekend at Downs Cottage. The property was perfect… comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful decor, superb location, sauna was a bonus and the garden was very pretty. Deal itself was a very welcoming town, friendly people. We’d recommend Margarita’s for take away pizza and Mike’s Bikes for cycle hire. Walking distance into Deal from the cottage was about 30mins, which along the seafront was no time at all. "We had a good night's sleep in comfortable beds after a tiring journey. The reception is open 24 hours a day, so it wasn't a problem arriving at 1 am. Julie the receptionist is lovely and went above and beyond to help us."

"Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Gut organisiertes Hotel in guter Lage am Meer. Von der Fähre aus schnell zu erreichen; gute Basis zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Kent. Ausreichend viele Parkplätze. Der Aufenthalt (7 Tage) hat uns sehr gut gefallen."
