„I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there ...

„Great place and great location. This was our second stay at Riverbend Retreat and it was as good as our first.“

„ The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again.“

„Lovely cabin. Well maintained and fully stocked with kitchen ware and washroom supplies. Easy and quick communication with manager. No negative issues. Would definitely stay there again.“

„This is the best stay we have had in a very long time! Betty was so generous and accommodating. Even if you forgot one small detail Betty has it. A great example, my daughter had a hole in one of her stuffed animals and was so upset because I said I don’t have anything to sew it with. Well, sure enough Betty had it in the house! Crisis solved and my daughter was happy. We will definitely come back and recommend this house for a stay!“

„I’ve been delayed in reviewing our stay at the Tree House because in my mind, we’re still there! Talk about relaxing, a true getaway, even though we were active from sun up to sun down. Everything about our stay was perfect. Ken was the ultimate communicator, so friendly, accommodating, and available for any questions. He and his wife, plus their children, greeted us upon arrival and during our stay and even shared her homemade bread! The area is beautiful, 84 acres that felt like it was all ...

„So many things to mention…fishing and playing in the river, relaxing on the porch, roasting marshmallows by the fire, enjoying the privacy and seclusion of the property (we literally saw no other people while we were there), fully stocked kitchen, linens provided. „We had a very relaxing stay at this property which was perfect for us - an elderly couple. We had everything we needed and fantastic views. We stayed 4 days and cooked every night. The kitchen was very well stocked. The water pressure could have been better, but we managed. It was so quiet & peaceful that we hated to leave!“

"Direkt bei einen Lastwagen-Gross-Parkplatz. Daher die ganze Nacht auch Verkehr. Dafür dort aber auch ein gutes Speiseangebot, so dass man nicht mehr in die Stadt fahren musste. Für mich ideal, da es nur als Durchgangs-Motel gedacht war. "
