„We enjoyed our stay very much; the home was in a quiet neighborhood, close to the market, shops and parks and we were able to walk our dogs to the marina and back in a short time. The home was very clean and the kitchen completely equipped for us to prepare and eat meals when we wanted. It was less than a ten-minute drive to Sailor’s Encampment, where we were able to watch freighters - close up, that were going up the river to the locks. „Stayed with friends while visiting soo friends. the picture are not marketing this place at it's best. This place is the old city jail that was turned into a living quarter. the lounge area was big enough to have a few friends over for dinner and drinks overlooking an amazing gas fireplace. we took picture of friend with old shackle in front of jail door with bars. the kitchen is a huge commercial one and everything you need for a nice stay.the bathroom is big and shower pressure is great. ...

„It was close to arenas - easy to get to. Parking was tricky with 4 vehicles but manageable. Thought there was a hot tub but maybe meant the tub in the bathroom! Overall would book again!“

„A little off the beaten path is what we were looking for. This lovely home is well appointed and thoughtfully stocked. A wonderful view morning, noon and night. Supply runs are a short distance away and the hosts were communicative and friendly throughout. Looking forward to another visit soon.“

„My mom and I stayed during our visit to Sault Ste. Marie for my daughter’s wedding. The house was a perfect place to come, and relax after some wedding prep. We used the kitchen to prep some goodies for the reception, and there was plenty of room. Everything was in great, working order! We did contact Althea since we had a little trouble signing on to the WiFi, but she was quick to respond. As stated in other reviews, the street was busy, but not horrible. „An absolutely stunning location! Perfect for all ages - the ages of our family group were 10 months to 74 years and everyone had the best time! The lake is perfect for small folks (the paddle boards were a big hit!) and the decks, lawns, fire pits and the hot tub were all put to good use! "Bis 3 am war im Hotel eine Party und die Gäste standen auf der Terrasse und waren so laut, dass an Schlafen nicht zu denken war. Erreichbar war im Hotel niemand und auch bei Check out morgens ließ sich niemand blicken. Eigentlich schade, da man sich offensichtlich anstrengen möchte, das Hotel wieder in einen besseren Zustand zu bringen"
