„We had a great stay! We came to blowing rock to go to lunch with a friend of my wife and wanted to get out of town for a night. The chalet was very cozy and quaint. Also very clean. No AC in our chalet, but not needed since we were in the mountains. We slept with the windows open and beautiful mountain air as opposed to Charlotte with 100° temperatures. We’ll definitely be back.“

„ The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again.“

„Check-in instructions were easy to follow. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed linens, towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap were provided. Very clean and nice place. Refreshing cooler air as we are going through a heat wave at home. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs listening to the bird's and seeing 8 deer 2 mornings. “

„I stayed for a couple nights for my birthday. Wanted something secluded and small. This was a perfect little cabin that fit the bill. Cool place with a creek right next to it and a little fire pit. Could definitely go back again “

„Lovely little cabin. Would be nice to have a larger back porch with screen since the creek and a small waterfall is so beautiful to look at and enjoy the sound. Inner tubes were in the basement with the laundry so we enjoyed a float on the creek. “

„Spent a long weekend getting out of the Florida heat with our 2 huskies. Cabin was pet friendly with fenced in area for the dogs and lovely balconies to enjoy the shade, cooler weather and lovely views. Host was very responsive. “

„Excellent cabin! Very clean and well stocked. There were plenty of towels. The beds were comfortable. Michael clearly pays attention to the details and was very helpful. The cabin is in a great, central location. We enjoyed time in Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock with easy drives.“

„For the cost of what we paid for the rental, it was fantastic. It has 2 great outdoor spaces, with a top and lower deck. It is small, but enough space for what we needed. It needs a few simple things, that I noticed others mention, like more towels. We are 60 guest and had to maneuver to get up the outdoor steps and to get in to the high ledge bath tub/showers. "I had slightly higher expectations before arriving at the hotel. The check-in staff were fine, but I was hoping for a bit more of that Southern hospitality. When we got to our room, we noticed a lot of noise from the road, so we went back down to request a room change, which they handled without any issues—this was fantastic. The room itself was quite nice, with a very comfortable bed, though the bathroom was a bit small but functional. I also want to highlight the number and quality of the towels, which were excellent. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the breakfast much. It was impossible to avoid single-use plastic, which, as Europeans, we find difficult due to the amount of waste it generates. The dining area also felt a bit drab and uninviting. Another downside was the housekeeping. Despite requesting, confirming, and leaving the sign on the door for daily cleaning, we returned one evening to find that no one had come to clean the room, which was disappointing."
