I'm a very frequent traveler and never run into a similar issue. Rroom was in a very bad condition including a basically broken toilet seat and a water-leaking air conditioner (had to switch it off to not ruin the carpet). Toilet brush was covered with poo of former guests, no cleaning/replacing at all. ...
