„The property was covered in ants small and way over priced for what the house was. Not a very cozy place to stay even kinda creepy. The owner wouldn’t even respond back to having trouble with ants. Very dissatisfied. “

„If you need a roof over your head for a few days this is perfect for you. The staff was friendly, the area was quiet. The bedding was clean, the water was hot, and there were no bugs. There is a bit of a funky smell but nothing a bit of fabreeze couldn't tackle.“

„What a relaxing week we had at the cabin. It had everything we needed and although we took time to explore the beautiful area, we really enjoyed hanging out on the front porch reading and watching wildlife. We had our senior dog with us, who loved walking down to the river. Amy couldn’t have been sweeter and when we had a rain storm one evening the power went out temporarily and she was there with extra flashlights and lanterns in no time. Walked across the street to walk down a road along side the river. Home felt like a modern version of grandma’s home, made for nice cozy afternoon/evenings of unwinding. “

„I cannot recommend this home enough. I spent a fantastic long weekend here escaping the city fireworks with my dog. We enjoyed the early morning walks and bird watching and relaxing by the river in the afternoon. The house is clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything I needed. I was so sad to leave, and would love to return in the future. The George Washington National Forest is stunning, and this home is the perfect way to experience all of its beauty. “

Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly (animals included), the land is gorgeous and well maintained, and the spaces were very clean especially considering that this is a farm tucked into the woods. „I can't say enough great things! This little cabin was so peaceful, exactly what my dogs and I needed! The place is old but well maintained, just what you would expect in a mountain cabin!
