„Cabin was as advertised, 2 bedrooms with 2 baths and plenty of space to cook, eat and relax. The interior has been redone with new appliances and the works. All the basic needs are included. River front location with a great view of the river. New wifi system worked well but no cell service for our Verizon phones.We booked an ATV and white water rafting tour which were within 40 minutes of the cabin. „This cabin was a lovely little place to spend a few days exploring the surrounding park and activities. The setting was picturesque with the river so close. Luckily, some of the best hiking is very near the cabin (Glen Creek Area), but the other hiking areas are about 30 minutes away and all the best restaurants are in Fayetteville. „What a find this place was! Loved the retro decor but with modern appliances and amenities. Very comfy beds and furniture, and lovely screened porch facing the woods. Mt. Hope is not much of a town but it’s located about halfway between the northern and southern ends of the NP which made for shorter drives in either direction to access trails. „My family and I travel to the mountains every year for spring break. And I can honestly say this location had the best view of any we have seen! The house is huge. It’s a combination of old country home (used to belong to a coal barron) with a splash of modern. Hot tub fits 5 comfortably and also comes with a view. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay close to hiking trails and Mountain views. “
