„What a beautiful space for a fall getaway. The cabin is spacious and clean - even better than it looks in the pictures. Plenty of comfortable furniture, open spaces made even more so by the numerous windows, and comfortable beds. There's no TV (in my mind, that's a bonus), but the wi-fi worked great and there are plenty of books and board games available. „Great setup. Lots of sleeping options. Washer and dryer with detergent etc. Only suggestion would be to add a sign to indicate the entrance and a light as we arrived late at night and wouldn't have found it if the owner hadn't waited up for us. Definitely appreciate that!“

„This was the perfect place for our family of 9! It's better than the pictures! The yard and lake are great for days of fun, plus we drove to the iron mine one day and North Shore Drive another. The cabin was comfortable and had all that was needing for a relaxing stay. We loved the loons and the friendly squirrel. We even saw a bear near Makinen!“
