„This is a really nice clean and beauitfully decorated home. Communication with owner was quick and friendly. Boys experienced good fishing on the lake and owner provided tubes to float in the water.Definitely recommend.L“

„Great stay and the host communicated well. House was great and the boys loved jumping off the dock. The host left ice cream for the boys and made it feel like home. The only down fall which is out of the host control is the neighbors. We had a little cook out with the team one night at 5 and the neighbor counts the people coming into the house and wasn’t pleasant. Besides that this house is great! “

„The house is lovely, well decorated and great for a family - there is even a room decorated for children with a floor bed for littles. Unfortunately the air conditioner went out and we had to find alternate lodging, but the host was great about communicating with us and we got a refund without any issues.“

„This was the perfect place for us to cool off after our baseball games and take a break from the heat. We loved the nearness to Cedar Lake and to the fields. Just right for us!! We loved that some toiletries were provided and having the ability to do laundry was crucial (needed those uniforms washed). With the heat we did not get the chance to use that firepit area, but hope to return and get the chance to cook s'mores and play yard games! “

„We came to Cedar Lake for my son's wedding at his fiancé's family home, and this VRBO was the perfect choice for our stay. We've stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and I think this one has been the best. It's very well-appointed and has everything a family could need. „We were looking for a convenient place to stay as we traveled the northeast area of Indiana. This home offered a cozy sitting area to relax and chat as well as comfy beds for a cozy night sleep. It is so close to 231 that you can see it. We were thrilled that we did not hear it…this made it a very convenient stop for our road trip! “

„Technicolor retreat was a great relaxing getaway. The home is lovely and the location on the river was so relaxing after a day in the Dunes or Chicago. It felt very secluded and private. We can’t wait to go back. We were able to take our golden retriever who loves all things woods and water. Wish we could have stayed longer! “

„We chose this property because of it's location between Indianapolis and Chicago, as half our group was coming from each city. The house and outdoor area met every expectation for our weekend together. Michel was incredibly responsive and asked very little of us as guests. We rarely left the house, but when we did, downtown DeMotte had a great diner (Steve's Grill) and really nice grocery store. Very likely our group will try to make this our annual meet up location.“

„It was a great stay. The few problems we had were taken care of promptly. Communication was responded to quickly. My only complaint would be that since the home is older, it has a septic tank and well water, which made the water smell like rotten eggs. The owner came and ran the water and most if the smell dissipated. The beds were very comfortable and had a lot of charging ports for phones. I would definitely stay there again.“

„Very comfortable. Full Amenities, (claw tub is wonderful), nice open floor plan, and very comfortable beds. Much Appreciated. Lounging indoors or out..we were cozy. Ideal for seniors, close to town. Hosts are great! Welcoming and highly accommodating. We will be returning.“

„The cabin was so nice. Comfy bed. Had all we needed. Plenty of places to go for a walk. The fishing was great. Host was super nice. Easy and quick to respond to my questions. We recommend this to anyone needing a place in the area and will return and so will other members of our family. Has a nice pavilion area with a grill so if you were considering a family get together it would be great to rent several of the cabins and spend time with each other. “
